This iPhone/iPod Touch app is for IT professionals who consult or freelance. If you are like me you carry around a binder with all of your clients information. How convenient would it be to carry around a binder's worth of information on your portable device?

This app has many features: a computer inventory, organized by client and employee; a billing timer (one of our most popular apps); password database; notes database; quick access to your iPhone's contacts; quick access to shoot off an e-mail; and a backup/restore utility. You could even input your information off-line then upload back into the app!

We at Breaux Software advise you to have some sort of remote wipe feature available to you in case of a lost phone. Two options easily available to most IT consultants is Microsoft Exchange Remote Wipe and Mobie Me's Remote Wipe.

Billing Time

This iPhone/ iPod Touch application is great for anyone who needs to bill a client by the hour and has trouble keeping track.

After launching the application and when you are ready to begin your job, tap on the "Start" button. During the job, you are free to switch to another app or make telephone calls. When you are ready to end the job, simply return to the Billing Time application and tap on the "Stop" button. The application displays the Start and Stop Date and Time with the total hourly time. At any time you can input the job name.

When you are ready you can e-mail from the Billing Time application. The e-mail will display the job name, start date/time, end date/time, and the total hours. Simply finish filling out the e-mail and send it when you are finished.
