We have updated all of our business apps for iPad to take advantage of Apple's AirPrint technology. Apple has started approving the updates and if your app doesn't have an update yet, hang on, one is coming. Apple's review process is rather strange the 4th app update we submitted was in review/approved first. We suspect in the next week, all will be approved and ready for you to download!
Currently there are only a few printers that work with AirPrint and all are Hewlett Packard printers. List of HP printers that work with AirPrint:

Additionally you can use a shared printer with an AirPrint hack for Windows and Mac OS X. Use these instructions at your own risk. We do not offer support for AirPrint, if you need help Google is your friend until Apple resolves the patent issues to officiallly enable it in the next version of iTunes. Then Apple can handle AirPrint support e-mails/calls.

We received an email from Chris at B & H Home Improvement who uses our app "Simple Invoices - Sales". He advises that our app not only is "easy to use" and "gets the job done" for his construction business but our app actually made money for him. By default the app has two policies regarding payment of the invoice. These are two lines that are customizable. By default the second policy reads "Total due in 15 days. Overdue accounts subject of a service charge of 1% per month. He had one huge job where after the job was complete the customer refused to remit final payment. After the legal process was completed, Chris' company received the 1% per month on the total invoice adding up to a sizable increase in monies collected from the customer.

This app features many different sorting scenerios to help with viewing the data in different ways. This app utilizes Apple's Core Data database structure with a backend file being sqlite3.

Simple Service Agreement 1.0 is released to the iTunes app store and is available to some regions. This app allows you to create a service agreement, between your business and your customer. You can type what services you will perform on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or other time frame. When you have completed filling out the agreement you can have the customer sign it with their finger or pogo pen then e-mail the agreement when you are done.

Party 1 agrees to do something for Party 2. Party 2 agrees to something else for Party 1. When you have drawn up the agreement each party, and available witnesses will sign it with their finger or pogo pen then e-mail the agreement when you are done.

US History Study Guide 1 (Pre-Columbian Era - 1865) 1.0 is released to the iTunes app store and is available to all regions.
This iPhone / iPod Touch app is a study guide for US History 1, a college course most students have to take to complete their degree program. You will find the "headline" style easy to read and remember. This application is focused on the period of United States history from the Pre-Columbian Era to 1865.
Their are four tabs: The first tab is a table of events, listing a year or period. You select the year by tapping and a new window appears. On the new window displays the fact(s) for that year or period. On tabs two through four are maps. The first map shows the Native American homelands. The second map is of the U.S. Civil War which displays Confederate and Union states. Finally the third map shows the various territory acquisitions of the United States government.

Billing Time 1.0 is released on the iTunes app store and is available to all regions. This iPhone/ iPod Touch application is great for anyone who needs to bill a client by the hour and has trouble keeping track.
After launching the application and when you are ready to begin your job, tap on the "Start" button. During the job, you are free to switch to another app or make telephone calls. When you are ready to end the job, simply return to the Billing Time application and tap on the "Stop" button. The application displays the Start and Stop Date and Time with the total hourly time. At any time you can input the job name.
When you are ready you can e-mail from the Billing Time application. The e-mail will display the job name, start date/time, end date/time, and the total hours. Simply finish filling out the e-mail and send it when you are finished.
